Principal's Blog - December 2016 This term has gone remarkably quickly and a lot has happened at Hamilton, lots which I have written to you about already in my letters and in the school newsletter, but there has also been lots of other exciting things happening at Hamilton which I am keen to let you know about as we head off on our Christmas break. Firstly, to update parents, carers and others on our progress towards becoming an academy and joining with the Rushey Mead Educational Trust. Principal’s Blog – - End of Summer Term

Well, the sun is finally shining and we are at the end of another eventful year in the life of Hamilton College! Our Yr11s have now completed their final exams, and enjoyed a last goodbye to their teachers and friends with their Leavers Assembly on Friday 27th May. It was a lovely afternoon, though really rather emotional at times, as the Student Band played a number of poignant songs, much to the delight of the crowd! There was also an emotional speech from Ms Connor, their Head of Year, who expressed how pleased she was to see the students grow up over the years into the young adults they have now become. Principal's Blog - March 2016 As always, this half-term has been exceptionally busy and students and staff alike have been working flat-out since they returned after the February half-term. For our oldest pupils this means preparing for their exams in just a few weeks and they have been really impressing me with both their focus in classrooms and their keen attendance at Study Support sessions after school and in the holidays. This Easter there have been revision classes on almost every day with sessions offered from almost all subject areas to help students to really focus on what lies ahead in the summer term.
